## Viral Tuna Salad, Lindsay’s Way

![](https://opal-trout.pikapod.net/content/images/2026/10/viral-tuna-salad-1.jpg)

- 6 cans Wild Planet Skipjack tuna (drained, liquid reserved)
- 1 cup mayo (your favorite)
- 4 large stalks celery (with leaves, roughly chopped)
- 1/3 cup banana peppers (drained)
- 1/4 medium red onion (skin removed, roughly chopped)
- 1/2 cup parsley
- 1 tbsp giardiniera (drained)
- 1 tbsp celery seed
- Salt + pepper (to taste)

#### To Serve

- Salt and vinegar kettle-cooked potato chips
- Banana peppers
1. Strain the tuna juices from each can into a small bowl, then add all the tuna to a separate, large bowl. You can use this liquid in soups, stews, pasta sauce, or even offer it to your furry friend! It’s just the natural juices from the tuna, no fillers or broths or anything! Use your hands (or a fork) to gently break up the tuna into small pieces.
2. To a food processor, add the roughly chopped celery and red onion, along with the banana peppers, giardiniera and parsley. Pulse until finely minced, then transfer to a cheesecloth or durable paper towel and squeeze out any excess moisture. You can do this by hand as well if you don’t have a food processor, it will just take a little longer.
3. Add the minced veggies to the tuna, along with the mayo, celery seed, and salt and pepper to taste and mix until everything is combined and homogenous. Taste for seasoning and adjust to your liking.
4. Serve on top of salt and vinegar potato chips, with a banana pepper topper! Enjoy!
